CoC Governance Charter: Annual Review & Update

The Cambridge CoC is required to review and update its Governance Charter on an annual basis. The original Charter was adopted by the CoC in April 2014 after several weeks of review and revisions by CoC stakeholders. To facilitate the annual review process, CoC staff have updated the document, and it is available for review here:

Please review this document and offer your feedback and comments to emengers@cambridgema.gov by Wednesday, July 25. Suggestions and revisions will be brought to the CoC’s Board for approval on July 26.

Changes made to the Charter are summarized below for your convenience when reviewing the document.

P. 4 HSPC meeting frequency changed from “monthly” to “regularly” to account for the recent schedule change of convening the group every other month.P. 4-5 “Membership” section added to formalize membership types and standards for becoming a voting member of the CoC.P. 5 Added “maintain CCOC membership records” to the responsibilities of the Support Entity.P. 6 Added: “Voting members of the CCOC will elect new Board members from the slate of candidates by majority vote.”
